La Mancha province has a population of 498,000 inhabitants. Its industry is mainly agriculture, with the production of wines and cheeses with denomination of origin and also emphasizes the cultivation of cereals, grapes, and olives.
Albacete is one of the largest cities in Castilla-La Mancha, most of the municipality is located in La Mancha plain in the center of the ancient region of La Mancha Montearagón. The north of town, however, consists of a sickle formed by the Júcar river, which charts the municipal boundary. Along the river Jucar are natural sites of the Marmota, and Las Cuasiermas Mariquilla. The south end of town, however, consists of a more wavy plain, with small mountains, which form the prelude of the "Prebeta mountain range". Among these mountains are the Ontalafia Lagoon.

San Juan de Albacete Cathedral: The Cathedral of San Juan de Albacete, in Spain it was built in 1515 on a former Moorish temple, although it was not until 1959 that ended with his current appearance, with a neo-Romanesque exterior and Gothic styles.

The two most importants are the Archaeological Museum of Albacete, Albacete Municipal Museum (Plaza Altozano 1),
Cuchillería City Council Museum: Municipal Knife Museum of Albacete, in the Cathedral Square, located at the Casa del Hortelano, houses an extensive collection of traditional and recognized local knife works, plus temporary exhibitions on knifes from around the world.
Cultural Centre Asunción: Sixteenth-century convent and now an exhibition hall and cultural center. Located in Calle de las Monjas street.
Both the day and the nigh in Albacete is very active, the weekend are from Thursday to Saturday. In "The Zone(La Zona)" we will find a variety of pubs and bars with kind of crowd day and night. The main streets are Tejares Street and Concepcion Street, and the final stages of Tinte Street, Calle Mayor, Plaza de Carretas and Plaza de Mateo Villoro.
Tanto la vida nocturna como la diurna de Albacete es muy activa, las escapadas de fin de semana se realizan de Jueves a Sábado. En "La Zona" nos encontraremos gran variedad de Pubs y bares con todos los ambientes tanto de día como de noche. Las calles principales son la Calle Tejares y la Calle Concepción,y los tramos finales de la Calle del Tinte y la Calle Mayor y la Plaza de Carretas y la Plaza de Mateo Villora. En Albacete podremos visitar también el Castillo de Almansa, uno de los mejores conservados de la provincia y más bellos de España.

Ruidera Lagoons National Park: Within the borders of the Park
is also Peñarroya Castle, the ruins of the Rocafrida Castle, and the famous cave of Montesinos, where Cervantes made Don Quixote spend in the King's house in the village of Ruidera. The actual park is a set of fifteen lagoons located longitudinally along the valley of river Pinilla or Old Guadiana, separated and connected by streams and waterfalls.
Natural Reserve of Ojos de Villaverde Lagoons: This Lagoon is considered the most biologically rich in the province of Albacete, and it is a ideal place for watching large numbers of birds: the Gray heron, Bonelli's eagle, Golden eagles, marsh harriers, hen harrier, goshawk , peregrine falcon, just to name a few.
Natural Monument of the Cancarix Volcan: Está
Is located in the town of Hellin -Albacete. The existing flora and fauna in this area is the characteristic of arid climates of the southeastern Spanish region, dry and sometimes desolated landscape. It is a volcanic vent that solidified but has been exposed over the years.
Airport: The province has an airport located 4 km south of Albacete in the CM-3203 motorway.
Roads: The roads are excellent in Albacete and very easy to get to. Albacete is located 250km from Madrid and 191km from Valencia.
