Playa de La Caleta: The beach of a lesser extension and isolated from the rest, it´s the main beach in Cádiz. It is defended by the castles of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina. From this beach you can see a lighthouse known as the "Faro de las Puercas" or " the whore´s lighthouse" named because it was on this island where the ships coming from the Americas left the prostitutes so they could not be seen when arriving on the harbour.

 

Santa María del Mar Beach(Playita de las Mujeres): The beach of Santa Maria del Mar is located in the Costa de la Luz in the outskirts of Cádiz (Spain). It is an extension of Victoria´s Beach. You can find many spanish families coming here on sundays and bank holidays.

 

Playa de la Victoria-Victorias´s Beach: One of the best and most important urban beaches in Europe, has an approximate length of 3 kilometers long and carries a blue flag since 1987, also is the first beach in Spain which has also certified to AENOR wide environmental management and the label Q of Quality.
