National Park of Caldera de Taburiente, La Palma Island
Declared a Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve covers an area of 46.9km ². The landscape of La Caldera is dominated by a
8 km in diameter circle with gradients of up to 2,000 m, with a spectacular streams and rivers. The highest point is the Roque de los Muchachos on the northern wall, at 2423 m altitude, which can be reached by road.In this environment have developed a variety of plant and animal species protected by the Canarian government. We´ll find it in the middle of the Island.
Pinar de Garafía: One of the best preserved sites of the Canary Islands and declared as such in 1994. It´s a set of cliffs over a very old terrain with canarian trees.
Natural Park Las Nieves, Puntallana, San Andrés y Sauces and Santa Cruz de la Palma: It was declared a Natural Park in 1987. It has one of the best preserved laurel forests of the archipelago due to the abundant amount of water which falls as waterfalls throughout the park. Within the park is Los Tilos, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1983.

Natural Monument of the Aridane Volcanoes- Los Llanos, Tazacorte
Located in the town of Los Llanos and Tazacorte it lacks of population only agricultural facilities. One of the most representative landscapes of the island. It consists of volcanic cones of Argual, Triana, La Laguna and Todoque.
Natural Monument of Risco de La Concepción: This is a volcanic cone in the municipality of Breña Alta, its unique and spectacular landscape is one of only two volcanic hydromagmatic cones(steam and lava) that exist in the Canaries.
Natural Monument of La Costa de Hiscaguán: This spectacular landscape of cliffs is an area located between the towns of Garafia and Puntagorda.
Natural Monument of the Sulfur Mountain:
This natural monument is located in the municipality of Mazo in La Palma. The uniqueness of the landscape lies in the formation of interesting volcanic cones of recent origin and large scale. This geomorphological form is located between a small cliff, so it falls on its eastern side the sea. This cone of lapilli, has a distinctive red and black tone, and it was formed after the eruption of 1949.
Natural Monument of Teneguía Volcanoes: Located south of La
Palma in the town of Fuencaliente, this is a landscape of great interest for its spectacular volcanic eruptions in the past.
Natural Monument of the Volcanic Tube of Todoque: Known locally as the "dirty spots" it was declared a UNESCO protected site. It was formed as the result of a volcanic eruption occurred in 1949, known as the "volcano of San Juan". In the former flow that surfaced an eruptive focus and poured into the west side of the island.

Natural Monument of Idafe. El Paso, La Palma, Canary Islands
It is a monument of great interest and was ancient worship place for the mahoríes, this is reflected in ancient texts.
Natural Monument of Barranco del Jorado. Tijarafe
This ravine has flora and fauna protected by the Canarian Government, in the town of Tijarafe.
Site of Scientific Interest of Barranco del Agua. Puntallana
This protected area is one of the best preserved of La Palma, home to flora and plant communities protected by the Canarian government.
Site of Scientific Interest of Las Salinas de Fuencaliente: One of the few wetlands that are in the Canary Islands and more specifically in La Palma Island, attracts hundreds of migratory birds each year.
Protected Landscape of Tamanca. Fuencaliente, Los Llanos and El Paso
One of the jewels in La Palma, there are many species of flora and fauna protected. This is a hillside landscape combined with an agricultural landscape of walled estates planted with vines and scattered farm buildings. Within this protected area there are the towns of El Charco, with 35 inhabitants, Los Quemados, with 9 people and Jedey with some homes.
Protected Landscape of Remo. Los Llanos de Aridane
This landscape with some protected species by the Canarian Government, it alternates with banana crops. It has inside a coastal settlement, Casas del Remo, with 108 inhabitants and some rural homes scattered among the farms. We can get here from Puerto Naos to Casas del Remo.
El Tablado Protected Landscape. Garafia:
This landscape close to the sea is a natural environment of cliffs and peaks. Inside is the town of El Tablado, with 63 inhabitants.
Barranco de Las Angustias Protected Landscape
El Paso, Los Llanos, Tijarafe y Tazacorte
The permanent waters of Caldera de Taburiente unite in the area known as the Dos Aguas(Two Waters), where the Las Angustias gorge begins. The mouth of the ravine is in the Port of Tazacorte. The ravine of Las Angustias is characterized by steep rock walls and vegetation. In the upper zone there are cedars and pines. Inside we´ll find the village of Amagar with 82 inhabitants.
