One of the most mountainous provinces in Spain, Castellon's climate is mild in winter and very hot during the summer. Benicassim, Alcora, Almazora, Borriol and Onda, each of these locations have a particular Castellon´s beauty. The economy of this region depends largely on ceramics, tourism and the oranges harvest. Along the Castellon´s Costa del Azahar, you may get lost on mountain trails and wonderful beaches. Castellón has 10 km of coast in the town of Grao and three nearby beaches ideal for swimming and hiking: Serradal, Gurugú and Pinar.

Another important towns in Castellón is Alcossebre, Benicassim and Peniscola. Alcossebre has 10km of beaches and virgin coves.
