Considered the master-work of renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), the project's vast scale and idiosyncratic design have made it one of Barcelona's (and Spain's) top tourist attractions for many years.

Calatrava Tower: Designed by Santiago Calatrava, it´s an architectural marvel known as the Torre de Calatrava. It was built just before the 1992 Olympic games as a communications tower for broadcasting the games to the world. It is a highly visible landmark in Montjuïc and it caused great controversy at the time it was built.
