Arriaga Theatre

The Teatro Arriaga is the main opera house in Bilbao, It was built in Neo-baroque style by architect Joaquín Rucoba in 1890, the same architect that built the Bilbao´s City Hall. It is named after the spanish composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga

How to Get to Bilbao | Transportation in Bilbao

Airport: Bilbao´s Airport(BIO) was designed by the valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, it´s located 12 km from the city center, in the municipalities of Loiu and Sondika. The Bizkaibus A3247, links the airport to Bilbao´s city centre, arriving at the main bus station, close to the metro and train station.

Buses(Termibus): In the city center, Gurtubay street nº1, we can get there by Metro(San Mamés), Tram(Zunzunegi Stop), or we can walk there from the train station.

Trains: From the train station we can get pretty much anywhere in Spain, it´s known too as the Concordia´s station, it´s wonderfull architecture will make a nice place to travel from. We can find the train staion in Bailén Kalea number 2, close to Bilbao´s Old Town.

Trams: Probably the best way to see Bilbao,we can go from and to anywhere in town.
