It is the most popuated city and capital of La Rioja. Logroño is a welcoming city and center of the famous WineRegion in the Riojan community. Surrounded by the river Ebro, the city has historically been an important crossroad, such as the Camino de Santiago(Santiago´s Way).
Logroño has also an important historical heritage and a lot of Wine Museums and Wineries we can visit.
There are plenty of monuments in the city of Logroño, both civil and religious buildings.
Stone Bridge: Built in 1884, consists of 7 arcs and its length is 198 meters. It is one of the four bridges crossing the river Ebro as it passes through the city.

Palacetes del Espolón: Set of three palaces, one of them was destroyed.
Espartero Palace: Eighteenth century Baroque palace to which he later added a coat of arms on its facade church became available for episcopal residence, something that never happened. In 1971 it became the Provincial Museum.

Convento de La Merced: Today it houses the Parliament of La Rioja, library and exhibition hall.

Science Museum: It was inaugurated on 22 April 1999 and is located in the building of the former municipal slaughterhouse. Located on the banks of the Ebro River, in a landscaped area in front of the Old Town of the city.

The nightlife in the capital of La Rioja is extensive. By the old town of Logroño we´ll find places where we can taste some of the Rioja cuisine and excellent wines.

In Laurel Street and around we will be welcomed by places to go for dinner or tapas. The areas for a drink we find it in the "Zona" and "la Mayor", where there is a large variety of pubs, clubs and bars for all ages.
