Oviedo is the commercial and administrative capital of Asturias. El Fontan: The Fontan it´s a group of buildings that form a rectangular arcaded square. Dating from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, it was built over a pond, so it was rebuilt in the late twentieth century. Fontan houses a Market which is held on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sunday mornings.
