The province of Guadalajara in Castilla La Mancha borders the spanish provinces of Cuenca, Madrid, Segovia, Soria, Zaragoza and Teruel between the counties of La Alcarria and the Countryside of Henares. It has a population iof about 238,000 inhabitants. and has with 19.54 hab / km ², 35% of them live in the capital. Through out the city flows the Henares River. Guadalajara has also a broad historical and artistic heritage very valued in Spain. Guadalajara is in the central/north-central Spain, in the northern part of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha.

Guadalajara has a great legacy both monumental and historical. Natural Park of Alto Tajo
Located in the southwest of the province, is a comprehensive system of natural gorges and canyons on the upper reaches of the Tajo River and its tributaries. Forests, high mountains and charming villages surround the area.

Barranco del Rio Dulce Natural Park
Located north of the province, is one of the most important parks in the province. It houses many birds and protected wildlife.

1. Aragosa Route - La Cabrera - Pelegrina:
With a distance of 11 km, is a path of low-average difficulty, through practically flat land. Goes through the majority of the park along a track that runs next to Rio Dulce(Dulce River).
2.Hoz de Pelegrina Route: It has a distance of 4 km, low-average difficulty, although there is a remarkable drop of about 70 meters, climbing to Pelegrina. The walk goes through the most rugged landscape of the Park, the Hoz de Pelegrina, descending from the village towards the river. " At about 1.5 km away, we find the house where Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente(spanish conservationist) kept the film material. We can visit the beautiful Rio Dulce waterfall, which is commanded from the Mirador de Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, the GU-118 highway, which runs from Torremocha Field to Sigüenza.

3.Sigüenza to Pelegrina through El Quejigar: It is a road of 5 km, starting in the medieval town of Sigüenza, and ends in the heart of the Natural Park, following the Route of Don Quixote, through an oak forest.
4.Route for visually impaired: It's a linear path of 1.5 km, from the village of La Cabrera, which goes by the right side of the Dulce River downstream, and offers a series of interpretative elements of the natural environment adapted for the blind.
Hayedo de Tejera Negra Natural Park: This park is located in the municipality of Cantalojas and is part of the massif of Ayllon. 400 hectares of beech forest.
