Guide to the Balearic
Beaches, "calas"(small beaches), valleys, high mountains, Balaric Islands, with its beautiful landscapes, make this region one of the most visited places in the Mediterranean Sea and Spain. The Balearic Islands are formed by the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. We can get here by plane or by ferry from Spain. Each of these islands, with their particular climate and beauty, make an ideal destination both for tourism or just relax. Mountain sports, and of course, beach. The summer months are usually the busiest, and you can enjoy a hot climate. In winter you can enjoy a quiet mediterranean island, Majorcan tranquility, and a climate that will always range between 10 º and 18 º. The Balearic Islands capital is Palma de Mallorca.
The archipelago is formed by two groups of islands and tiny islands. Transport between them can be done by boat or plane.

The Balearic Islands have privileged location in the Mediterranean, and the temperatures remain mild even in winter, rarelly going below 13ºC. In the island of Mallorca we´ll get below 13ºC when we go to the higher parts of the island, such as the famous Tramuntana Mountains. During the winter time we can enjoy a different side of the Balearics, the less amount of visitors during the winter time makes it a very peacefull place, where we can still enjoy a bit of sunshine, and the rural side of the Balearic Islands.
The busy summer months temperatures reach up to 35- 40ºC and a lot of humidity, from end of March until mid October we can always enjoy fairly warm temperatures in the Balearics.
