Navarra is north of the Iberian Peninsula(Spain), bordered by France, Aragon, La Rioja and the Basque Country is the territory corresponding to the High Navarra, Lower Navarre (Basse Navarre) is in France. It has high scenic and cultural values. Most of this region is mountainous, dominated by the Pyrenees, and contrasted with the plains of Valle del Ebro. Its official languages are Castilian and Euskera. Navarre is a land of deep-rooted traditions which reflect the diversity of their customs. The music, dance and cuisine are the highlights of the festivities. Pagan rites coexist with religious traditions throughout the four seasons.

Navarra Pyrenees: These majestic peaks we can find them north of the Autonomous Community of Navarra in Spain, the Roncal Valley, near the Park-Andia Urbasa. Baztán Valley or the Sierra de Urbasa are some options in the Navarrese Pyrenees.

 

Casa de la Memoria: Old traditional house in ISABA has become a museum, which presents hundreds of ancient pieces which reflects the province identity. It also has interactive panels that explain the lifestyle of the valley, which focused on grazing.

 

Irati Forest: The Irati Forest is the second largest beech-fir best preserved in Europe, an immense green spot of about 17,000 hectares that is still almost untouched by humans . Located in the western Pyrenees of Navarre, the Irati Forest is accessed from the picturesque villages of Orbaitzeta Ochagavía and is a natural treasure found in the protected spaces and Tristuibartea Mendilatz and Reserve of Lizardoia.
