Zamora is located near the border with Portugal, and is at 66km from Salamanca and Valladolid, 93km. The old city is described as "a Historic and Artistic. Excel whole of Romanesque buildings, the most important of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important in Europe. Zamora is a land full of contrasts, a mountainous area, part of the Montes de León(León Mountains), Sierra de la Culebra(Culebra Mountain Range)and the area west of the province we will find the Caza Natural Reserve. Zamora has a continental climate, very cold winters and hot summers. It´s significant the dense fog in winter due to the presence of the Duero River through out the city of Zamora. The city of Zamora has the most Romanesque churches in all of Europe. The historical legacy from Zamora can be seen through out the city, cathedrals, old markets, castles, towers and old roman walls.
Sanabria Lagoon Natural Park: The Natural Park of Lago de Sanabria, is located northwest of the province of Zamora, in the region of Sanabria, Zamora, Castilla y León. It occupies an area 22,300 hectares. It is a mountainous area with deep valleys, in which we´ll find many lagoons of glacial origin. It is surrounded by the mountains of Segundera, Cabrera Baja and Gamoneda. The current Lake Sanabria with its 318 hectares, reaches 51 feet deep, make it the largest in the Iberian Peninsula(Spain).

Los Arribes del Duero: The Arribes del Duero is a region that extends over a distance of over 100 km along the Duero River, is a border area between Spain and Portugal and It is a large natural area of stunning canyons and routes to visit. In Arribes del Duero we can find a lookout over the River Douro called Peña Redonda, in the village of La Ribera Villardegua with astonishing views of the region
Villafáfila Lagoons: Villafáfila Lagoons are located in Tierra de Campos, Zamora. This is a group of beautiful wetlands that host large numbers of migratory birds, many of which are protected. With astounding sunsets in the evenings, Tierra de Campos spreads primarily by the provinces of Valladolid and Palencia and to a lesser extent by the bordering areas of Leon and Zamora.
